The count-up proved to be remarkably positive – not just because of the fundraising. We have already gained more media attention than on any other expedition before. We are always spontaneously talked to on the street; we receive applause and encouragement. And furthermore, we have a team that appears well-prepared for the coming exertions.
Even our KYOCERA printer, that accompanies us wherever we go, rises to the most difficult of challenges. As a result, we can quickly and comfortably print out paperwork for crossing borders, documents for press events or just simply photos of the European summits. We are very excited about the adventures that await us in Africa. Cape Town – here we come!
