4th Stage - All sound in Denmark

15 October 2008
The highest peaks of Denmark have an average height of 170 metres. In comparison the peaks that lay behind us, this was rather a small challenge.
The real challenge was actually finding what actually Denmark’s highest point was. The three highest summits are all back to back. Exactly which of these peaks is Denmark’s highest seems even to mystify the Danes. It appeared to us, that every time we measured, the result was different. But according to the latest standings, Möllehöj is the king, although we’re talking centimetres: 170.86m. Admittedly, Yding Skovhöj measures 172.54 metres, but only because a burial mound was heaped up many years ago. Without this, the peak only measures up to 170.77 metres. In any case, at the end of the day, the flag with the estimated number of unknown cases of HIV/Aids (9300) flies over the Danish lands.
